B'deshi running 'clinic' in Lko held for illegal stay, forgery
LUCKNOW, May 21 -- Police arrested a Bangladeshi national on Wednesday, allegedly living illegally in India and operating a small clinic in Lucknow using forged Indian identity documents, officials said.
"The accused, identified as Arup Bakhshi, 37, a native of Narail district of Bangladesh, was arrested from under the Vipassana Meditation Centre flyover on Kisan Path around 2.10 am on Wednesday," said VK Pandey, ACP, BKT.
"He allegedly admitted to illegally residing in India and obtaining fake Indian documents," added SHO, BKT, SK Singh. An FIR has been registered under sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC along with provisions of the Foreigners Act at BKT police station.
