LUCKNOW, Sept. 29 -- The Artillery Regiment commemorated its 200th Gunners' Day in Lucknow on Monday, marking two centuries of its service, operational legacy and contribution to the Indian Army. The commemorative programme included a wreath-laying ceremony at Smritika War Memorial by Maj Gen Vikramjit Singh Gill, MG Artillery, Headquarters Central Command, along with veterans and senior officers of the Regiment. The ceremony paid tribute to artillery personnel who lost their lives in line of duty. Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command, also interacted with serving personnel and veterans of the Regiment of Artillery.
