LUCKNOW, Nov. 1 -- As many as 811 of the 3,069 government employees assigned duties for the second phase of Census 2027 in Lucknow skipped Saturday's training session, prompting the LMC to initiate disciplinary proceedings against them, according to an LMC press release. As per the LMC's attendance report, 2,258 personnel attended the training, recording an overall attendance of 73.58%. They included 318 of the 396 designated supervisors and 1,940 of the 2,673 enumerators. As many as 78 supervisors and 733 enumerators remained absent. The secondary education department recorded the highest number of absentees, with 268 employees skipping the training. The basic education department followed with 100 absentees, while the health and irrigation departments recorded 54 and 50 absentees, respectively....
