50,000 students take 'AI for All' assessment, score 70.41 average
LUCKNOW, Aug. 9 -- Around 50,000 students took the state-level assessment for the four-hour 'AI for All' course conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission in secondary and aided schools, securing an average score of 70.41 out of 100, a spokesperson said. The course is part of 'Project Praveen', a state government initiative aimed at equipping youth with future-ready technologies such as artificial intelligence.
State minister (independent charge) for vocational education, skill development and entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Agarwal, said the AI course under 'Project Praveen' aims to bridge the rural-urban digital divide and equip students with future-ready technology skills.
Mission director Pulkit Khare said the examination was conducted transparently within five days. Question papers were sent to districts on July 8, the main exam was held on July 9. Over 89% cleared the examination.htc...
