Ajmer/Nagaur, May 18 -- Four members of a family were killed when a Rajasthan Roadways bus collided head-on with the van they were travelling in, in Rajasthan's Nagaur district on Sunday, police said. According to police, the accident occurred on the Merta-Kuchera road around 8 am. The impact was so severe that the car carrying eight members of the family was completely mangled, while the bus veered off the road and plunged into a nearby field, police said. Three occupants of the car died on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital. The deceased, all residents of Ravaniyana village in Jodhpur district, have been identified as Rukma Devi, 50, an Anganwadi worker; her elder son Amrish Puri, 28, a head constable in Rajasthan Police posted in Pali district; her younger son Akash Puri, 26, who was preparing for competitive examinations; and Akash's wife Neetu, 22. htc...
