Nagpur, Aug. 25 -- Three infants were killed after a fire broke out in the newborn care unit of a government hospital in Amravati district in Maharashtra early on Monday, prompting the state government to order an investigation. The fire broke out around 3.30am on the third floor of the District Women's Hospital, which houses three Special Newborn Care Units (SNCUs) - specialised wards near the labour room that treat unwell newborns.
