CHENNAI, June 10 -- In a major relief to 21 of the 25 lawmakers of the AIADMK who voted in favour of the ruling TVK government on the crucial floor test, Assembly speaker JCD Prabhakar on Tuesday said there would not be any disqualification proceedings initiated against them. However, he clarified that action would be taken against the four All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) who voted in favour of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. A petition was filed on behalf of the AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami seeking the disqualification of the four lawmakers on May 13, he said.
