VARANASI, Dec. 15 -- Two traders were killed and another was injured after a car rammed into a roadside tree on the Azamgarh-Ghazipur road, just before the Bhujahi turn in the Jahanaganj area of Azamgarh on Sunday, police said. The deceased have been identified as Shashi Singh (40), a resident of Semaur village in Jakhania, Ghazipur, and Taufeeq (25), a resident of Dullahpur, police said. Singh owned a garment shop in Jakhania market, while Taufeeq ran a clothing and footwear shop in Dullahpur. The driver of the vehicle, Bullet (30), a resident of Dullahpur, was seriously injured in the accident and has been admitted to hospital for treatment, where his condition is reported to be critical.
