KANPUR, Oct. 13 -- KANPUR Two police personnel were suspended after four men, including a sub-inspector and a security aide attached to the Ghatampur ACP, allegedly assaulted restaurant staff in Swaroop Nagar after being denied hookah around 2.30 am on Monday. DCP Central Atul Srivastava said two policemen were found prima facie at fault and further action would follow as per rules. The accused allegedly abused and assaulted employees, including women, and misbehaved with women visitors. The disturbance continued for half an hour and spilled onto road. The suspended personnel were identified as sub-inspector Rajnish Bhatt and security aide Aditya Yadav. ACP Swaroop Nagar Jyoti Shri is conducting an inquiry. Police are examining CCTV footage.HTC...
