PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 26 -- As many as 11,808 candidates will appear for the LT Grade Main Recruitment Examination-2025, to be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) at 28 centres in the district on August 30, officials said on Tuesday. The examination will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9.30am to 11.30am, while the second shift will be held from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Examinations for 15 subjects will be conducted during the two shifts. To ensure strict supervision and prevent any irregularities, the district administration has decided not to deploy the same magistrates in both shifts. Magistrates assigned duties in the first shift will not be given duty in the second shift; a fresh set of officials will be deployed for the afternoon examination. The process of deploying magistrates is currently under way. A total of 56 magistrates will be deployed for security and administrative supervision at the examination centres. Their duties will be changed between the two shifts to ensure adequate administrative monitoring throughout the examination. The district administration directed officials to ensure all arrangements are in place for the smooth, fair, and transparent conduct of the examination. Security arrangements and necessary facilities for candidates will be ensured at all centres. ADM (city) Satyam Mishra said preparations were being finalised according to the commission's directions.
