LUCKNOW, April 6 -- Significant improvements are being seen in healthcare services, making medical treatment more accessible and effective for the general public than ever before, said Dr Rajiv Goyal, state president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), on Sunday. Modern technology has given a new direction to the medical field, making the treatment of many complex diseases significantly easier, he said while addressing a workshop held ahead of World Health Day (April 7). Dr Goyal stated that with the help of new and advanced diagnostic techniques, it has become possible to detect diseases at very early stages. This enables timely treatment and helps prevent serious health complications. He further noted that modern medicines have played a crucial role in controlling and eliminating several diseases.
