India, Sept. 1 -- Janata Dal (United) working president and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha terms Rahul Gandhi-led Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar a futile exercise as it had a few takers in the poll-bound state. In an interview to Arun Kumar, Jha exhorts confidence of a cohesive National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) win in the upcoming polls. Exited excerpts: Worried? We are happy that the Opposition is involved in an issue that has no takers. Abuse and provocative sloganeering don't get people's support. This message people of India and Bihar have time and again conveyed. If Congress and the INDI Alliance feels they can negate Bihar's phenomenal growth story with negativity, it is their choice. It is not without a reason that CM Nitish Kumar remains the only choice for the people. I don't see much of an impact. In fact, it could have a reverse impact to further push back the Congress, which has no footing in Bihar. The politics of the country and Bihar has evolved and parties like the Congress and the RJD are still banking on their old tricks, which can no more work. Now people assess who has delivered what and that is where both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar stand tall. The inclusive growth of Bihar has hardly left any section untouched and now with big boost to infrastructure growth, Bihar is set for next phase of industrial development. Seat sharing is not an issue in the NDA. There was no issue just a year ago during the Lok Sabha elections and there is no hitch now. All parties have aspirations to fight more seats, but ultimately it is the alliance requirements that determine. The real difference this time is that the NDA is fighting as one unit under PM Modi and CM Nitish Kumar and joint campaigning at the Vidhan Sabha level across the state has sent a positive message of cohesion. NDA is confident as it has its report card to show. As the CM himself says, he committed mistake twice. JD(U) believes in learning from mistakes and not repeating it. Past is over. Nitish Kumar government has delivered and the people acknowledge it due to positive change in their lives in more ways than one......
