President Murmu arrives in Shimla
Shimla, April 28 -- President of India Droupadi Murmu arrived in Shimla on Monday for a five-day visit to the state.
She landed at the Kalyani helipad in Chharabra and was received by Himachal governor Kavinder Gupta and chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and was taken to Rashtrapati Niwas, Mashobra.
On April 28, Murmu will participate in an event at Lok Bhawan. On April 29, she will visit the Atal Tunnel.
On April 30, Murmu will attend the convocation ceremony at the Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (Agricultural University) in Palampur, Kangra. Before her scheduled return to Delhi on May 1, Murmu will visit the Army Training Command Centre in Shimla.
