MP CM visits Vaishno Devi shrine to study crowd management
JAMMU, May 30 -- The chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, on Friday paid obeisance at the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra and said he visited the cave shrine with his officers to study crowd management and other allied facilities being offered at the three peaked shrine so as to emulate them in temples across Madhya Pradesh
"The Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga shrine, the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga shrine, and now recently the shrine of Mother Vagdevi have, in a way, been recognised by the high court as temple institutions. We have come here to seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi and also study the systems in place ," he told reporters at Tarakote Marg before embarking on the pilgrimage.
