Shimla, Sept. 15 -- Leader of Opposition and former chief minister Jai Ram Thakur on Monday accused the state government of staging an investigation to malign the Himcare scheme while failing to probe an alleged spurious drug racket. Thakur said the vigilance department had cited a lack of technical and financial expertise to investigate allegations against a pharmaceutical manufacturer over the sale of spurious drugs, GST evasion and the illegal supply of 27-28 tonnes of raw material.
