Dharamshala, June 10 -- Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur on Tuesday criticised the state government over transfer of head of Cardiology department of Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC) in Tanda in Kangra district. "The chief minister employs similar tactics before shutting down any system or facility: strip the hospital of a facility, transfer the doctor, and the hospital will close on its own," Thakur said. Thakur said people from across the state visit Tanda Medical College for treatment. Meanwhile, college principal Dr. Milap Sharma said, "Dr Mukul was transferred to Shimla and has already been relieved from his post. We have three doctors. One is currently on medical leave, while another is pursuing a fellowship. The third doctor is on duty. In addition, two cardiologists are being posted here from Mandi."htc...
