Jammu, Sept. 30 -- Four personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), including an assistant commandant, were killed in a suspected case of fratricide in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district on Tuesday, said police. The accused was arrested following the firing incident which took place around 7:30pm, said Kathua senior superintendent of police Mohita Sharma. The deaths were suspected to be the result of indiscriminate firing by an officer following an altercation between CISF personnel deployed at Sewa-III power project in Mashka village of Kathua. The personnel were guarding the hydroelectric power station located on the Sewa River, a tributary of the Ravi. Those killed included assistant commandant Ankit Kumar Pandey, SI Lakshman Singh, and constables Rafiq Ahmed and Sandeep Kumar. All four succumbed to their injuries after being admitted to NHPC Hospital in Himachal Pradesh.
