Barmer/Pali, Sept. 6 -- A man allegedly raped a 27-year-old woman in Pali, whom he had met on social media and later blackmailed using her edited obscene photos, police said.

Frightened, she shared her home address with him.

Brandishing a knife, he reportedly raped her and took more photos, threatening to ruin her if she spoke about the incident. The victim remained silent out of fear. On August 15, Jagdish returned and allegedly raped her again.
The victim confided in her husband on August 31. Following this, she lodged a complaint with the Kotwali Police Station. The police registered a case against Kumar. Authorities have launched an investigation to nab the accused....
