Alwar, July 6 -- A four-year-old boy was allegedly murdered by his stepfather, who then buried the body in Kotputli-Behror district on Sunday, police said, adding that the stepfather has been detained. The incident, reported from Indrana village in Bansur area, came to light after villagers alerted police, prompting exhumation of the body and launch of a forensic investigation. SP Satveer Singh said, "Police received information that a father had allegedly killed his four-year-old child and buried the body. Police reached the spot and initiated the process of exhuming the body." Police said they have taken the accused into custody and are questioning him to ascertain the motive.
