Barmer, July 4 -- A 37-year-old man was detained on Friday for allegedly beating his younger brother to death with a cricket bat at a village in Barmer district on Thursday, police said, adding that the brothers were in the middle of a financial dispute. The incident took place in Pushad village, said police, adding that the victim was identified as Suresh and the accused was identified as Jetharam. Sheo station house officer Manohar Vishnoi said Suresh had gone to Jetharam's house to discuss the dispute. .
