Jaipur, April 2 -- Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (Jaipur Discom) has recorded its highest-ever revenue collection in 26 years, achieving an impressive 102% revenue realisation in the financial year 2025-26. The power distribution company collected over Rs.29,462 crore during the year, surpassing the total billed amount of Rs.28,863 crore. This means the Corporation not only recovered the full billed amount from current electricity consumption but also realised Rs.599 crore from pending dues, marking a significant financial turnaround. Officials said this is the highest revenue collection in the history of Jaipur Discom, surpassing the previous best of 101.02% recorded in 2017-18. Among the three zones, Bharatpur zone emerged as the top performer with 104.63% revenue collection, followed by Kota zone at 103.64% and Jaipur zone at 101.32%. Authorities attributed the improvement to strict action against power theft, targeted recovery drives from high-default consumers, and settlement of long-pending dues through Lok Adalats.
