India, Oct. 27 -- For actor Manisha Rani, the ongoing Chhath Puja is "not just a festival, but an emotion". Having grown up in Bihar, where the four-day-long celebrations are marked with devotion and togetherness, she fondly remembers preparing thekua, decorating ghats, and watching lamps float over water. Now based in Mumbai, Manisha admits that she initially felt the city lacked the festive spirit: "At first, I thought Mumbai didn't really have the essence of Chhath. Back home, the entire city lights up and everyone celebrates together." But her perception changed last year when she attended the rituals at Juhu Beach. "I was stunned to see so many people gathered for Usha Arghya. The same songs, the same faith, the same emotion... it felt just like home," she shares with a smile. Though work will keep her in Mumbai this year, the 28-year-old plans to celebrate in her own way. "Even if I'm away, my prayers and emotions are always with my family. Chhath teaches you humility and keeps you grounded," she says. Missing the festive prasad, she laughs, "I'm literally asking people around me if they're celebrating so I can get some ghar ka prasad! Uska alag hi maza aur swaad hai."...
