Jaipur, June 10 -- Rajasthan Police on Tuesday said it had taken action against 8,448 vehicle owners and drivers on the eighth day of a statewide special enforcement drive aimed at improving road safety, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and promoting responsible driving practices. Police teams targeted a range of violations, including illegal vehicle modifications; unauthorised red-blue beacons, flashers and strobe lights; pressure horns; black films on windows; unauthorised words and symbols displayed on vehicles; and number plates that did not conform to prescribed standards.
