Jaipur, May 27 -- Relatives of a newlywed 19-year-old woman allegedly abducted her from the reception area of the Churu superintendent of police's office on Monday afternoon after assaulting her and her husband while the couple were seeking police protection, officers said. The couple had arrived at the SP office after contracting a love marriage and submitted an application seeking security, police and the victim's husband said. They were asked to wait in the reception area adjacent to the SP chamber. The incident reportedly occurred shortly after Churu SP Nishchay Prasad M had left the office to attend an official meeting. "Police were working to trace the woman and identify the accused. Though we do not have any breakthrough as of now, efforts are underway for her safe recovery," said Prasad.htc...
