Jodhpur, Sept. 12 -- Three pilgrims, including an uncle and his nephew, were killed after a speeding four-wheeler allegedly hit them while they were walking to Ramdevra in Jodhpur district on Thursday night, police said. The accident occurred around 10.30 pm on the Shergarh-Phalodi Mega Highway near Bhungra village. Shergarh SHO Khetaram Siyol said five residents of Tena-Nathasar village had set out on foot for Ramdevra around 10 pm. The deceased were identified as Naresh, 25, Ambaram, 29, and Bhanaram, 25. Police detained the driver and seized the vehicle. Narpat Ram, one of the two pilgrims who escaped, said, "We were walking in a group, with a gap of around 50 feet between us. We escaped, but the vehicle hit the other three." htc...
