Udaipur, Aug. 19 -- Two women were killed after a speeding car ran over them while they were selling vegetables by the roadside on the Gogunda-Pindwara National Highway on Monday, officials said. According to eyewitnesses, the car was moving at such high speed that after hitting the women, the driver dragged them for nearly 20 feet before crashing into a roadside divider. The car then plunged nearly 10 feet into a ditch. The victims were identified as Mangli Bai (50), wife of Khema Ram, and Noji Bai (48), wife of Pokhar Lal Gameti, residents of Khumanpura. Station House Officer Shyam Singh Charan said" We rushed to the scene, cleared the crowd, and restored traffic..
