show cause notice issued by hrera for failing to refund dues
Gurugram, Aug. 6 -- Haryana real estate regulatory authority (HRERA) Gurugram on Tuesday said that it has issued show cause notice to directors of Ramprastha group for failing to refund the amount of home buyers.
"The HRERA Gurugram had passed different orders in 2020 directing the Ramprastha Promoters to refund the decretal amount approximately of three crores to the complainants who had approached the authority for relief. But all these years, the directors of the Ramprastha promoters did not comply with the HRERA court orders," a statement issued by HRERA, Gurugram on Tuesday said.
HT tried to seek a response on the matter from one of the directors of the Ramprastha Group through phone calls and messages. However, the director could not be contacted despite multiple attempts.
Enforcement Directorate (ED) had issued a statement on August 12 starting that it has attached immovable properties worth Rs.681.54 crore belonging to M/s Ramprastha Promoters & Developers Pvt. Ltd. (RPDPL) and its group companies under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002 in a case of cheating various homebuyers in various projects....
