Hry CM, Congress spar over 'youth employment'
Gurugram, July 26 -- Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday accused the Congress of indulging in "politics in the name of youth" and said the future of young people cannot be sacrificed for political gains.
Addressing the media during a grievance redressal meeting, Saini said the Congress had failed the youth during its years in power."The Congress... should first explain unemployment, corruption and recruitment irregularities that marked its tenure," he said, referring to the recruitment of excise inspectors in Punjab. Saini credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritising youth welfare and cited action against National Testing Agency officials as proof of his commitment to transparent recruitment.
