New Delhi, April 25 -- A 36-year-old e-rickshaw driver died and five of his passengers were injured after a Hyundai i20 hit their vehicle, causing it to overturn, on Ring Road at Model Town on Friday evening, police said. "The car driver's medical examination is being conducted to rule out intoxication," said deputy commissioner of police (northwest) Akanksha Yadav. Police said that as per a preliminary inquiry, the incident took place around 6pm. The driver, Nagender, 36, died during treatment. The injured persons are stable and out of danger, police said.
