Ambala Cantt, Oct. 31 -- The young skaters of The SD Vidya School brought laurels to the institution with their stellar performance at the 25th Ambala District Roller Skating Championship held at Ambala City. Demonstrating exceptional skill, confidence, and perseverance, the students bagged several medals and secured selections for the state-level competition. The achievers included Abheek (Class 2 - Cyclamen) who won one Silver and one Bronze medal, Hitesh (Class 5- Fuchsia) with one Bronze medal, Megha (Class 7- Crocus) with one Bronze medal, and Shubham Mittal (Class 9- Pride of India) who clinched two Silver medals. From the Kindergarten section, Netanya (UKG) secured two Silver medals, Anaisha Dhiman (UKG) won one Bronze medal, and Sharika Srivastava (Pre-KG ) earned two Silver medals. Sargun (Class 2) bagged one Bronze medal, while Sukhman (Class 3) achieved First Position in the Under-11 Category of the SGFI Skating Tournament. All these talented students have been selected to represent Ambala at the State Level Championship. Shubham Mittal (Class 9) expressed his happiness, saying,"Our school always encourages us to excel in games, and I'm proud to bring glory to The SD Vidya School through skating." Abheek (Class 2) happily expressed his gratitude towards the school, saying,"I'm proud to win for my school and want to skate even faster next time!"
