YOGA DAY: Sacred Heart Celebrates Union of Wellness & Music
cHANDIGARH, July 1 -- Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, celebrated the International Day of Yoga and International Music Day with great enthusiasm, highlighting the significance of harmony, balance, and inner well-being.
The International Yoga Day celebration was organised by the sports department, where teachers, NSS volunteers, and NCC cadets participated in a rejuvenating yoga session held in the school premises.
The spirit of togetherness extended beyond the campus as parents actively joined the session through virtual mode.
The International Music Day celebration, organised by the music department, resonated with melodies of gratitude and devotion as school choir and other music enthusiasts offered hymns of thanksgiving.
The soulful presentations reflected the power of music as a medium to uplift the spirit and create a sense of peace and harmony.
Addressing the gathering, sister Venita Joseph, the principal, congratulated the participants and emphasised that celebrations dedicated to the well-being of mind, body, and spirit should not remain confined to a single day but should become an integral part of everyday life and every moment.
Both celebrations beautifully symbolised the importance of nurturing the body, mind, and spirit, with yoga fostering physical and mental equilibrium and music enriching the soul through expression and gratitude....
