India, Nov. 2 -- A road accident in Punjab's Jalandhar claimed the lives of two friends in the early hours of Sunday as they were returning home from a birthday party. One of the victims, Vidit Olak, was the nephew of singer Yo Yo Honey Singh and son of Dinesh Olak, owner of Punjabi music label Speed Records. Reacting to the loss, Honey Singh took to his Instagram Story on Sunday to share a heartfelt note (inset above). The second victim was identified as Aarav Talwar, son of the owner of a sweet brand in Jalandhar. According to Baradari Police Station SHO Sahil Chaudhary, the police received information about the accident at around 3am. Municipal Corporation sanitation workers had parked a tractor-trolley on a flyover while collecting garbage. The victims were travelling in a Volkswagen car from BMC Chowk towards BSF Chowk when it rammed into the stationary vehicle.
