Chandigarh, Sept. 25 -- Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Thursday demanded that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Punjab be suspended until the next assembly elections. This is the only way to ensure that no genuine voter is denied the right to vote, he said. While Punjab draft electoral rolls are yet to be released, there are apprehensions that the names of lakhs of voters may be deleted, he added.
