Panchkula, Sept. 15 -- DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Sector 8 celebrated Veda Week with devotion, reverence and spiritual fervour on the auspicious occasion of Shravan Purnima. With the noble objective of spreading the eternal wisdom of the Vedas and the inspiring thoughts of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, a sacred Vedic Yajna was organised under the guidance of Punam Suri, president Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha. As per the guidelines of the Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha, the programme beautifully reflected the values of Vedic culture through Bhajans and Mantra Uccharan, presented by the students of Class 9 along with their teacher, Sangeeta Rani. The programme was thoughtfully planned and conducted with devotion and discipline.
