Shimla, May 17 -- Two people died after a vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and plunged into a gorge in a village under Rohru sub-division of Shimla, police said on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Virender Singh and Lokinder Singh, both residents of Ranol village. According to the police, the accident occurred on Friday night near Ranol, when both men were on their way back to their home after election campaigning.
