Trisha slams 'crude words'; Parthiban issues apology
India, March 10 -- Actor Trisha Krishnan has finally spoken out after filmmaker-actor R Parthiban made remarks about her at a recent awards event. The controversy followed her appearance at a wedding with rumoured partner actor-politician Vijay, who is currently facing a divorce and multiple political and legal challenges in Tamil Nadu.
Trisha addressed the matter on X without naming anyone, writing: "I was informed by the organisers of a recent event that my name and picture were included at the last minute at the request of an individual conveyed through his assistant. A microphone doesn't make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder."
The remarks came after Parthiban, during the Galatta Awards, made a quip about Trisha's role as Kundavai in Ponniyin Selvan, saying, "This Kundavai should be kept at home for a few days. That's good. Don't let her come out." Following backlash, he apologised on X on March 8. HTC...
