India, Nov. 3 -- Contrary to rerports, actor Tiger Shroff will not attend the November 3 launch of actor-author Claudia Ciesla's book, Beyond Weight Loss: Eating, Healing & Ageing with Claudia's Concept, in Mumbai, contrary to reports. The event was speculated to be his first public appearance since the firing incident at his car outside a Juhu football club. "The news circulating regarding Tiger Shroff making a public appearance for a book launch happening on November 3 is completely baseless. Not true at all," his spokesperson told the media. On October 18, two shooters fired at Shroff's car as he was leaving a football ground in Mumbai's Juhu. While the 36-year-old escaped largely unhurt, his driver and a bystander sustained injuries. Members of the Bishnoi gang, which pledges allegiance to jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the firing. Twelve people have since been arrested in connection with the case.
