New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Police have registered an FIR and apprehended a 17-year-old boy after three policemen were injured as a mob allegedly threw chilli powder in their eyes and attacked them with bricks and sticks in Mukundpur near north Delhi's Bhalswa Dairy on Saturday. Police said the attack was allegedly over impounding a motorcycle at Janta Vihar in the area. Deputy commissioner of police (outer-north) Shobhit D Saxena said at 3pm two head constables were on a beat patrol duty. During vehicle checks, they asked a man on motorcycle to stop and show his documents. Since the person could not produce valid documents, the officers brought the vehicle to the police station under Section 66 of Delhi Police Act.
