India, June 29 -- Move over oil paints and watercolours, social media users are turning yogurt into their latest artistic medium. The trend, known as ganba (aka dry yogurt) art, involves straining Greek yogurt until it becomes thick enough to spread, sculpt and 'paint' on like frosting. The trend has exploded across social media and Chinese platform Xiaohongshu, where creators use miniature palette knives to recreate everything from floral patterns and cartoon characters to famous paintings.
