TARN TARAN, Aug. 30 -- A resident of Rattoke village in Tarn Taran district, Shamsher Singh, has gone missing following a flash flood triggered by a glacier burst in Nepal on August 26. Singh was working as a crane operator at the Trishuli Upper Power House Project in Nepal, according to the family. Two of his relatives, Bhupinder Singh and Rashpal Singh, who are residents of Uttar Pradesh, are also missing. The family last spoke with Shamsher through a WhatsApp call on August 25. The incident has left the families worried, as they remain uncertain about the safety and whereabouts of their relatives.
