Chandigarh, May 21 -- Shri Kulwant Rai Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir, Sector 43-B, Chandigarh, in collaboration with Hindustan Times PACE, organised an educational trip to the Indian Air Force Heritage Museum, Sector 18, Chandigarh for students of Classes 1 to 8 on Friday. A total of 160 students, accompanied by 8 teachers, visited the museum to learn about the glorious history of the Indian Air Force. The museum showcases aircraft models, war memorabilia, uniforms, and interactive displays on various IAF operations like the Kargil War and 1971 Indo-Pak War. Students were fascinated by the _MiG-21, Gnat, and Canberra aircraft_ displayed in the open arena. A short documentary on "The History and Heroes of IAF" was also screened. The guides explained the role of IAF in safeguarding the nation and the importance of discipline, courage, and patriotism. Principal Kamaldeep Singh appreciated HT PACE for this initiative.
