Student of Holy Mary's School bags gold at CBSE Cluster XVII
Mohali, Aug. 5 -- In a proud moment for Holy Mary's School, Banur, Tushar, a student of Class 7-D and son of Vijay Kumar, made a remarkable mark by winning 1st place in the under-14 long jump at the CBSE Cluster XVII Athletic Championship 2025.
The championship, which drew participation from nearly 50 schools, was held from July 31 to August 4 at Punjabi University, Patiala, and was hosted by Sushila Devi Public School under the banner of CBSE Cluster XVII. Tushar clinched the gold medal on August 1, earning accolades and admiration for his stellar performance on the field.
In response to this achievement, Tushar humbly acknowledged the crucial role played by his PT teachers and the encouraging environment provided by his school. His father, overjoyed by the win, celebrated by distributing sweets among the school's staff and management.
The win also qualifies Tushar for the CBSE National Games, where he will now compete at a higher level, representing his school and region....
