India, Dec. 23 -- For American folk-rock band The Lumineers, India was never part of the original dream. As they return here for a performance in Delhi on February 1 next year, lead vocalist-guitarist Wesley Schultz says, "We never thought our music would make its way so far away from home." Recalling their first encounter with India during their 2021 show in Pune, he laughs, "The biggest culture shock was just driving here!" But the true shock for Schultz was the overwhelming response from Indian crowds: "It was a shocking experience because a bunch of people came out to the show. And they were just a wild, lively crowd." Their last visit felt like a whirlwind and passed in a blur, but this time, the intention is to slow down. "I want to try to sink my teeth a little bit more into the food and do some more sightseeing," Schultz says....
