Behlolpur, Aug. 21 -- Shishu Niketan Public School celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India. The entire campus was decorated with tricolour flags, balloons, and streamers, radiating the spirit of freedom. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal Abhilasha Tiwari followed by the singing of the National Anthem by students and staff. A series of cultural performances were presented by the students, which included patriotic songs, dances, poems, and skits that highlighted the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the importance of unity and peace in nation-building. The principal addressed the gathering and inspired the students to be responsible citizens and contribute positively towards the progress of the nation.
