Ropar, Aug. 18 -- Shemrock World School celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India. The celebration commenced with a warm and ceremonial welcome of the guests. The ceremonial lamp was illuminated. The celebration was attended by the school directors, Mukesh Berry and Anu Berry. The National Flag was unfurled by the Mukesh Berry followed by the National Anthem. The students presented an impressive blend of patriotic dances, drill formations, group performances, poetry, and thematic presentations. The investiture ceremony was another significant moment of the celebration. The newly appointed student council members accepted their responsibilities.
