Chandigarh, July 20 -- Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, transformed into a vibrant hub of scientific inquiry, creativity, and innovation as it hosted GENESIS - The Story of Life- an interdisciplinary exhibition that celebrated the spirit of research, experiential learning, and sustainable development. The exhibition drew an overwhelming response from educators, students, and visitors from several schools across the city, all of whom lauded the exceptional quality of the 3-D exhibits, working models and the remarkable talent of the young innovators. The exhibition was graced by Dr Surinder Singh Kukal, lead, Centre of Environment & Climate Change, Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (MGSIPA), Punjab, as the chief guest. Touring the exhibits, Dr Kukal appreciated the students's scientific temperament and applauded the school's commitment to fostering experiential learning, hands-on training, research, critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving. He commended the students for presenting meaningful solutions to contemporary global challenges while seamlessly integrating knowledge across disciplines. Equally captivating was the fascinating presentation tracing the journey of humankind - from the earliest proto-hominins to the era of Artificial Intelligence and Androids, offering visitors a thought-provoking glimpse into the evolution of life, science, and technology.
