Sacred Heart School celebrates Republic Day with patriotic fervour and solemnity
Chandigarh, Jan. 29 -- Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal. The programme commenced with a solemn prayer, invoking blessings for the nation, followed by a warm welcome address and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
The celebration featured a vibrant cultural programme, beginning with a dance performance by the primary school students.
This was followed by an informative speech highlighting the importance of the Indian Constitution. Patriotic songs, poetry recitation, and a powerful dialogue enactment further enriched the programme, evoking a deep sense of national pride among the audience.
A felicitation ceremony was held to honour national and international achievers of the school for their outstanding accomplishments. The chief guest, inspector Renu Sahu of Punjab Police, an alumna of Sacred Heart School (Batch 2006), addressed the gathering. In her inspiring speech, she motivated students to uphold constitutional values and serve the nation with dedication. As a mark of appreciation, the Chief Guest was presented with a memento.
