Chandigarh, March 31 -- Remount Veterinary Corps (RVC) held their nerve to register a hard-fought 7-5 win over Artillery on the second day of the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Polo Cup at Chandigarh Polo Club. Despite starting with a two-goal handicap advantage, RVC faced stiff resistance from Artillery, led by captain Princepal Singh, who starred with multiple goals. After trailing briefly in the second chukker, RVC fought back through Lance Dafedar Satyaprakash and Acting Lance Dafedar D. Santosh. A crucial moment came late in the game when Captain Princepal Singh was shown a red card, allowing Major Mayank Bajpayee to seal the win for RVC. In the second match, First Steps outclassed Mayo College, Ajmer, by 6-2. Jitender Rathore led the charge with four goals in a dominant display.
