Recent Controversies in K-pop world
India, March 1 -- K-Pop boy band and BTS Jungkook went live on fan platform Weverse at around 3:40 am on February 26. During his live he spoke about several issue including past smoking, frustrations with restrictions on what he can say publicly, and how he sometimes feels constrained by his management under HYBE/BigHit Music. Sharing about the death threats he is facing, Jungkook said, "The people who are rooting against me, cursing me, who want to see me fall. The people who want to kill me. There must be a lot out there. There must be a lot of people who don't like me." He also admitted, "I don't smoke anymore. I used to smoke a lot before, and I worked too hard to cut it. Why can't I speak about it?"
Shortly after the stream ended, the video was taken down from the platform, and while it's not officially confirmed whether Jungkook himself or the company requested the removal....
