Rangoli making event at DC Montessori Sr Sec School
Chandigarh, Oct. 23 -- The inter-house rangoli making competition was held with great enthusiasm at DC Montessori Senior Secondary (Smart) School, celebrating the spirit of "Diwali, The Festival of Lights."
All four houses-Ganga, Kaveri, Brahmaputra, and Yamuna-showcased their artistic brilliance by creating magnificent rangolis using coloured powders, flowers, lamps, and candles.
The participants exhibited immense creativity and team spirit as they represented the festive theme into vibrant, intricate designs. The contest was judged on originality, thematic relevance, and presentation by the school's art faculty.
Ganga House bagged the First Position for their dazzling and detailed depiction of "Diwali:
The rows of Light." Kaveri House secured the Second Position for their intricate and traditional designs, while the third position was jointly shared by Brahmaputra House and Yamuna House for their impressive artistic flair.
The event concluded on a joyous note with the principal Vishali Kaushal, felicitating the winners with trophies and certificates.
She appreciated the students' creativity and remarked that such competitions nurture aesthetic sense and deepen our love for Indian traditions and culture.
